Twist of two foundations
scripted, to esoteric suggestion
mangled to lock, to love, and bow to the remembered,
the principles are the thank yous

Hours, to calendars, and other misconceptions
we have done, what we have always been
another script, written on instinct
becoming only unmangled, welcoming principles; or the truth

Gift of receiving is only the one we gave
alone, nothing to the world of "give me"
letting another twist tie the obvious, or the carotid
submission bowing your head, closing your eyes … to see

Physical relation, obvious, people of the surface
again forgotten, silly we've been watching our watches again
bestial comfort, creating the wheel
roll a wheelbarrow, full of gifts.
